What does a computer virus look like?

If you suspect you have a virus, DO NOT PURCHASE any antivirus or computer maintenance contracts initiated by web sites or images displayed on your computer screen. Your best alternative is to visit a local Best Buy or Staples. Often times the images on your screen are generated by the virus itself. Many victims pay the virus creator hundreds of dollars for service contracts and virus removal, only to find out, they cannot recoup any services or money.

Once infected, your computer may not run any software from the Start Button (Word,Excel,Outlook,Paint etc). The following popup box may appear. After closing the box, your application fails to start.
