Boot computer into Windows System Recovery Command Prompt


After booting from cd/dvd (Boot from cd or dvd)

Choose windows setup [ems enabled]

Windows choose language page

windows install now, choose repair computer not install

When system displays "Windows Vista Install now", do not install.
Select "Repair your computer" on lower left of monitor


Recovery options, hit next

Hit Next
Recovery options, hit next

Hit Next
Start up repair, follow link view advanced options for system recovery and support

Follow link "view advanced options for system recovery and support".
Choose command prompt

Choose command prompt recovery option.


Sony

For Sony computers, Insert cdrom labeled "sony system recovery cd". Restart your system

Toshiba

For Toshiba computers: Repeatedly press lower case character c as system boots, system should boot from Toshiba cdrom xp operating system disk.
