Reprogram the scanner by scanning 'Code 39 - Any Length' on page 12-26. Once this bar code is scanned the LS 2208 should accept single-digit bar codes.

Open the manual "Symbol LS2208 Quick Start Guide" (provided with symbol scanner) and find section "Add an enter key (carriage return/line feed)" and section "Add a tab key", scan all 8 barcodes in numerical order. By adding a tab/carriage return and using the Epicor's MES console, when a user scans their login id, they are logged in, without any further keystrokes or scans.
