Safe mode boot

If your computer is running, restart it by typing

Start->Turn off computer->Restart

If you computer is off, then just turn it on.

As soon as it starts coming up, start pressing the F8 key.

If your keyboard has an F Lock key, verify the F indicator is lit,

otherwise the F8 key will not be recognized

Keep on pressing until you see this screen.

Chose the desired boot option <enter>

System will complete it's restart.

Your screen may look quite different, that's ok since

your video driver wasn't loaded. It will be loaded

correctly when you boot back in normal mode.
