Qcam Pro software permits operation of multiple cameras on one computer. However, because the driver installs every camera with the same name, streaming sites ("Ustream") can't distinguish each camera. Here's the steps necessay to rename and update the driver for one of the cameras.
The driver for the Qcam pro can be found in c:\windows\inf\oem21.inf. The files are read only, remove by typing attrib -r oem21.inf. Copy the file to a new file called oem22.inf. Edit the file, change this string PID_0991_DD="Qcam Pro for Notebooks" to a new name. for example, PID_0991_DD="Qcam Pro for Notebooks 1".
The driver update requires file WUApp32.exe, when prompted, copy it and all other files from C:\Program Files\Common Files\LogiShrd\LogiDriverStore\lvdrivers\11.90.1262\PRO5.
start up devmgmt.msc select one of the Quickcam pros from the imaging devices. Right click and chose update driver. Browser my computer Let me pick device drivers on my computer chose the one with the new name.
