Internet Explorer cannot display web pages after virus removal
A virus may modify Internet Explorer's options to use a proxy server. This prevents IE from connecting to web sites even after a virus has been removed. IE->Internet Options->Connections->Lan Settings->Use proxy server for your lan->unCheck
