Boot Xp from Floppy Drive
You will need 6 IBM formatted 1.44 MB floppy disks. None of the disks need to be pre-formatted as a system disk. Be sure to download the correct version of xp, pay particular attention to xp edition, home or professional and whether your running service pack 2. One you have created the disks, place the #1 Setup disk in your floppy driver and restart the system Feed all 6 as prompted Start the Recovery Console |
